The Horrors are set to release a new single, their first on XL Recordings, on the 11th of May 2009 and to follow it up, they’re doing what all great bands do, and heading out on the road.

‘Who Can Say’ follows the recent downloadable only release ‘Sea Within A Sea‘ and is the first track to be lifted from their second album ‘Primary Colours’ which is released on the 4th of May 2009. Released on seven inch vinyl and available to download, ‘Who Can Say’ comes backed with the exclusive, ‘You Could Never Tell’ and is the band’s first proper single release since 2007’s ‘She Is The New Thing’
‘Primary Colours’, the follow up to their 2007 debut ‘Strange House’, features ten tracks and was recorded last summer with Portishead’s Geoff Barrow together with Craig Silvey and Chris Cunningham.
The Horrors line up of Faris Badwan – Vocals, Tom Furse – Bass / Synths, Joshua Third - Guitar, Spider Webb – Organ / Bass and Coffin Joe – Drums play the Coachella Valley Festival in California on the 19th of April before setting off with The Kills for a US tour thro April and May. The band return to the UK in May for a headline British tour which includes a London show at the Electric Ballroom in Camden on the 5th of June 2009.
