Nine Inch Nails have announced two exclusive shows in the UK this summer; they will play Manchester Arena on Tuesday 14th July and London’s O2 on 15th July as part of their mammoth NINJA 2009 world tour.
UK fans are advised to seize this opportunity, as enigmatic mainman Trent Reznor has confirmed these will be the last NIN shows for some time, and that they will be “much more raw, spontaneous and less scripted” compared to last year’s “Lights in the Sky” tour. “It’s time to make NIN disappear for a while,” he said.
NIN, who’s only other UK appearance will be at Sonisphere festival Knebworth in August will be bringing along some very special guests to open the show, in the form of Jane’s Addiction.
The LA rockers return to the UK after an 18 year absence with the classic line up of Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Eric Avery and Stephen Perkins, to warm up the crowd with classics such as Mountain Song, Oceansize and Been Caught Stealing.
Tickets go on sale Friday 17th April at 9am
