The first ever rap show in a Missouri resort town will go ahead as planned after bosses at a local venue agreed to stage the event.
Hip-hop star Nelly was set to headline the gig at Branson's The Grand Palace later this month, but officials unanimously rejected a permit application, citing concerns about noise, parking and crowd control.
But bosses at the nearby Mansion Theater stepped in to save the show - they have invited promoters to stage it at their venue instead, a statement from organisers says, "The Mansion Theater has stepped up and agreed to allow us to bring the event to their beautiful state-of-the-art theater which is also located in the heart of Branson."
The gig will go ahead as planned on 21 August.
