Following their all conquering, sell out arena tour in November 2008, McFly announce a string of intimate gigs this April and May 2009.

The 14 date tour will take the boys to theatre sized venues in all corners of the country, including stops at the Manchester Apollo, Edinburgh Corn Exchange and London’s HMV Apollo in Hammersmith. American Idol runner-up David Archuleta is the Special Guest on all dates.
Well accustomed to huge audiences in arenas around the world, McFly savour the rare opportunity to thank their most loyal fans at smaller shows. In 2006, the boys embarked on their ‘Up Close and Personal’ theatre tour, which saw dates selling out in less than two hours. The shows proved so enjoyable for the band and their fans that a sequel was only a matter of time.

2008 was another huge year for McFly. Taking full control of their creative output, the boys launched independent label Super Records and released ‘Radio: ACTIVE,’ their first studio album in two years. The record was given away exclusively with the Mail On Sunday, reaching over 2.4 million homes and prompting a 300,000 rise in circulation. The album spawned three smash hit singles and a nationwide arena tour.
