Only four weeks remain until the beginning of Iceland Airwaves, and organizers are pleased to announce more acts. Icelandic singer songwriter Lay Low, whose second album will be released this October, will be bringing her own regional flavor to the celebrations.

In addition, Austin, Texas’ post-punk rockers White Denim, who have been lighting up the Texas scene with their revivalist 70’s-rock sound, will be joined by NME’s latest darlings, Brooklyn’s eccentric and enticing Boy Crisis.

Along with this new blood, UK rock magazine Kerrang will once again be hosting a night of the festival, and they’ll be bringing Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro.

Continuing a five-year tradition, Kerrang and local rock station X 97.7 chose wisely with Biffy Clyro, who will be performing a headline show at the Brixton Academy soon after Iceland Airwaves.

The country's biggest annual music event will take place in downtown Reykjavik between 15-19th October.
