Glasgow pop/rock band Hip Parade have been chosen as the support act for the upcoming Stereophonics’ UK arena tour in March.
The tour, which takes in two nights at the SECC as well as both the O2 and Wembley Arena in London, continues a great start to 2010, having recorded their debut EP in January at Monnow Valley Studios in Wales with Stereophonics’ guitarist Adam Zindani as producer.
The band signed to publishers BMG Rights Management at the end of 2009, and are set to release single ‘Katie Goes Dancing’ on their own label to coincide with the tour dates.
Lead-singer Robert Shah said ‘We can’t wait to play these shows, they’ll be the biggest crowds we’ve played to yet. We got on really well with Adam at the studio and it’s a fantastic honour to be asked onto the tour.’
