French Horn Rebellion
For Robert and David Perlick-Molinari (aka French Horn Rebellion), two brothers born and bred in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the start of 2010 has picked up where 2009 left off.
Only three months in and the new decade has already seen the release of the band’s acclaimed Beaches & Friends EP, New York shows supporting Hot Chip and Shy Child, a UK tour which included the most jumping Tuesday night a rammed Camden Barfly has seen in aeons, a live appearance at legendary French fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac’s Paris Fashion Week catwalk show and a typically madcap series of shows at SXSW. And that’s just for starters...
With the brothers cooped up back in their New York studio lair putting the finishing touches to their forthcoming debut album, French Horn Rebellion now announce an imminent return to Europe for their first fully fledged European tour.
It will take in shows in Amsterdam, Zurich, Vienna, Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Paris and London including five shows with SebastiAn (Ed Banger) and Jackson (Warp) on the Levis ‘Colors of Noise’ tour. The dates finished off with a show at Amsterdam’s Paradiso playing with Major Lazer and Matt & Kim.
