Fightstar's recent album Be Human went straight into the Top 20 when it was released in April, and shortly afterwards the band embarked on a small headline tour to introduce their fans to the new record.
Following on from the success of their A-listed single 'Mercury Summer' and their impressive appearance at the Radio 1 Big Weekend, Fightstar now announce their own major headline tour for October which includes their first ever show at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire.
Singer Charlie Simpson said; "This next tour is shaping up to be our best yet. The last tour blew our minds with how responsive and up for it the crowds were and now people are going to have had the chance to really get to know 'be human' properly. We are playing some of my favourite venues on this tour as well which is always a bonus and we are going to be bringing out some tunes that our fans have never heard live before, so I can't wait! I just hope everyone is ready for an all out Fightstar assault in October!"
Fightstar have also been added as one of the headline acts for the iTunes festival, which will take place at London's Roundhouse on July 2nd. There will be no tickets on sale for this show, to win a pair go to Fightstar's website for more info or look out for forthcoming competitions.
