A 23-year-old Essex boy brought up on UK garage but such a fan of legendary 60s producer Joe Meek that he’s planning to get Meek’s portrait tattooed on his chest, Esser makes music which sounds like the Radio 1 A-List re-imagined by aliens.
With two hit singles under his belt and having already completed a headline UK tour, which included a show at the Liverpool Barfly as part of this year’s BBC Electric Proms, supporting Bloc Party at the Q Awards show and Foals as part of the Gonzo tour, Esser has also just been confirmed as the main support for the Kaiser Chiefs upcoming UK stadium tour.
But if you can't wait (or afford) to check him out with the Chief's then fear not, as the hotly tipped newcomer has just announced a headline UK tour in April. Esser has previously supported the likes of Bloc Party and Foals, and has recently been confirmed as support on the upcoming Kaiser Chiefs UK stadium tour.
