Muse

It's a brand new year! It's a new decade, a new beginning and a new reason why you're skint, after spending all your hard earned 2009 cash on New Year booze. Well don't delay - get saving now, because here in the FemaleFirst office, we've been beavering away to give you the low-down on the best gigs on their way to you this year.

Muse

Matt Bellamy and co are on the road once again in 2010 and they've packed the strobe lights and unashamedly epic stage equipment while they head to London's Wembley Stadium and Manchester's Lancashire County Cricket Club in September 2010.

The three indie lords will have a tough time topping their amazing 2009, which saw them named 'Best Act In The World Today' at Q Magazine's annual ceremony, while their two O2 Arena gigs in 2009 sold out in under half an hour, shifting an almighty 85,000 tickets! Muse also topped 21 album charts around the world including the UK in 2009 with their latest album, 'The Resistance'.

Their ambitious and widely celebrated live performances are definitely one to save up for, and while they'll only be stepping on stage in September, I'd get busy piling up the pennies as soon as possible, because one of their two Wembley Stadium gigs has already sold out!

Muse UK Tour Dates 2010

September 4th 2010 - Lancashire County Cricket Ground, Manchester, UK
September 11th - Wembley Stadium, London UK

Biffy Clyro

It's been 15 years since Biffy Clyro started their pursuit for rock stardom and after all that graft, the reward has arrived. The Scot rockers have found mainstream appeal and after their triumphant sold out tour in November, they are ready to return and prove that they're a band that are sustainable once thrust into the limelight.

Biffy Clyro

We'll be looking out for recent tunes 'Mountains' and 'Captain' alongside fan favourites 'Who's got  A Match' and '9/15ths' although it's only a matter of time until we're more interested in seeing Simon Neil with his shirt off so that we can continue with our wild, lustful screams about having his baby.

It's good to see these beautiful Scot rockers have been catapulted from their obscure beginnings to nationwide acclaim and there's no other band who will appreciate this more, which is why we at FemaleFirst think Biffy are going to give it everything they've got, and they'll deserve every second of it.

Rihanna

The good girl gone bad is hitting the road in May for the first of her 11 UK tour dates this year. Rihanna's live gigs will be no doubt be a performance packed full of attitude and killer heels, while Rihanna belts out the diva-esque tunes of her explosive album and trademark sound.

Rihanna

The ubiquitous pop vixen has been riding the Umbrella wave since 2007 and she'll be trying to make her latest album 'Rated R' just as big a hit, while her latest single 'Russian Roulette' tackles the singles charts.

Be prepared for Dominatrix style costume design, and a track list of Rihanna's old favourites like 'Disturbia' and of course, her ticket into pop stardom 'Umbrella'.
