UK soul queen Beverley Knight will be undertaking her first UK tour in 2 years this November, and has also announced a headline show in 2010 in the prestigious surroundings of London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Knight has also just completed work on her 6th studio album, entitled “100%” and due for release on September 14th 2009. The multi award winning star has worked with a fine array of collaborators and producers to complete a body of work that is sure to be widely acknowledged as the best album of her career so far.
100% sees triple Mobo award winning Knight working with illustrious former writing partners Guy Chambers and Jimmy Hogarth (Adele, Duffy) as well as with multi Grammy Award winning legends Jam and Lewis, and Ivor Novello winning songwriter Amanda Ghost (Beyonce, Shakira). Knight and Ghost are co-writers of the album’s first single, “Beautiful Night”, due for release on September 7th
September also sees the launch of Knight’s cosmetics range for dark skin: “K by Beverley Knight”, to be launched exclusively in Selfridges stores and rolled out to John Lewis and other stores afterwards.
