Michael McDonald - former Doobie Brother and superstar singer/songwriter - will be releasing a new album of classic soul-tinged 'cover' songs - titled 'Soul Speak' released April 7th on Universal Music . The album will include three new songs by the 5x Grammy winner and touring member of Steely Dan.Produced by frequent Eric Clapton collaborator Simon Clime, this 13 track new collection burnishes McDonald's flawless vocal delivery over an array of soul-inspired songs – featuring some of his favourite songs. The lead off track is Jackie Wilsons' 'Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher' - which is already a huge hit at radio in the US. 'Love TKO' by Teddy Pendergrass; 'Walk On By' by Dionne Warwick; 'Into The Mystic' by Van Morrison, 'Living For The City' by Stevie Wonder, 'Redemption Song' by Bob Marley and more.
