Angus and Julia Stone have announced an additional London date at the BORDERLINE on 20th MARCH.
Their two shows at the Enterprise (20th & 27th Feb) have sold out, prompting the inclusion of a further London show at the Borderline (Tickets onsale: 0870 400 0688 / www.livenation.co.uk)
The Australian brother-sister duo will perform tracks from their forthcoming mini-album ‘Heart Full Of Wine’, on Mark Radcliffe’s Radio 2 show tonight. They then kick off a series of UK dates at the Enterprise in Camden this Tuesday night.
Heart Full Of Wine mini-album contains material from two recording sessions in the UK; the first with Chris Potter (Verve / Richard Ashcroft) and then later with Travis frontman Fran Healy. Presented alongside last years’ EP Chocolate & Cigarettes, the resulting two disc set is dusted with summer breezes, late night tales and solitary introspection. Unquestionably promising. THE FLY, Most impressive are the songs simple, but blindingly effective, acoustic compositions, warm boy-girl harmonies and delicate, less-is-more arrangements.
