Jagger Recording Secret Solo Album With Stewart
Mick Jagger is recording a secret solo album in Los Angeles with Dave Stewart, according to the rocker's brother.
Chris Jagger let the scoop slip during an interview on a Portuguese TV show, which aired on Tuesday (01Mar11).
Asked if his big brother keeps in touch with him, the younger Jagger said, "He's doing a record at the moment in Los Angeles with Dave Stewart. He called me last night telling me what he was doing."
If the information is true, the project will be Jagger's first solo effort since 2001's Goddess in the Doorway.
Stewart teamed up with Jagger to co-write several tracks on the Rolling Stones frontman's 1987 solo album Primitive Cool and the former Eurythmics star also worked with Jagger for songs that appeared on the Alfie soundtrack in 2004.
The secret recording session comes just weeks after plans for a global Stones tour reportedly stalled.
Wood's Mum Impressed By 'Polite' Moon
Legendary rock wildman Keith Moon tamed his infamous behaviour whenever he visited pal Ronnie Wood's family home in a bid to impress the Rolling Stones star's mother.
The musicians were close friends, and Wood has named Moon as his ultimate rock hellraiser - but insists the late star was always on his best behaviour around his mum.
Wood says, "He was a good friend of mine, very protective. My mother used to like him - very polite boy.
"He'd be causing severe damage one side of the room then serving my mother brandy with his smoking jacket on the other side of the wall.
"One hell of a hellraising, all over the place drummer. He couldn't keep a beat... bit like his personality. Instead of taking one pill he'd take a hundred."
Richards' Daughter Arrested In New York
Rocker Keith Richards' model daughter has been arrested after police allegedly caught her defacing public property in New York on Tuesday night (01Mar11).
Theodora Richards, 25, was also in possession of marijuana and a controlled substance, according to TMZ.com.
Police sources tell the website the Burberry and Tommy Hilfiger model was using a "paint marker" to graffiti the letters "TNA" onto the side of a building in Soho when she was apprehended.
Cops found the drugs during a body search after she was taken into custody.
Richards is currently awaiting arraignment.
