Green Reuniting Goodie Mob For Rap Album
Cee Lo Green is returning to his rap roots - he is making plans to reunite his former hip-hop group Goodie Mob.
Green found fame as a member of the rap group in the 1990s, but quit in 2000 and went on to win even greater worldwide recognition in duo Gnarls Barkley and by singing solo R&B tracks.
Now the Forget You hitmaker and his former bandmates are stepping back into the studio to work on a new hip-hop album.
He tells Britain's Daily Star, "I really want to go back to my roots and do a little rapping. It's been a fabulous experience reuniting with Goodie Mob after 15 years and seeing how we all turned out.
"Plus it's interesting to see how I've developed as a rapper after so long out of practice."
Green previously reformed the group for a one-off concert in Atlanta, Georgia in 2009.
Jones Sued By Topless Sunbathers
Rapper Jim Jones is at the centre of a lawsuit by two women who appear topless in the promo for his song, Summer Time.
Samantha Stotts and Sharie Johnson were filmed as they sunbathed and splashed in the sea wearing just bikini bottoms on a beach in Miami, Florida.
The footage later appeared on the video for his track, Summer Time - and the two women have issued legal proceedings against Jones and Sony Music Entertainment for violating their civil rights.
Stotts tells the New York Daily News, "It makes me look like I'm a ho... It was supposed to be fun and natural. But then you have someone who turns it into a rap video, which is totally unacceptable... They made us look very risque. That's not my personality."
Her pal Johnson adds, "I don't have a problem with rap-video girls. But I never wanted to do this."
The video has also angered bosses of clip-sharing website YouTube.com - it was taken down on Thursday (10Feb11) for violating the website's "policy on nudity or sexual content".
Rapper Eve Will Fly Solo On Valentine's Day
Rapper Eve is in for a lonely Valentine's Day - she's too busy with work to hook up for a romantic rendezvous with boyfriend Maximillion Cooper.
The Who's that Girl hitmaker has been dating the racing car driver since last year (10) when she met him at the Gumball 3000 rally in London, which the Brit founded.
But the pair's busy lives mean they will have to be apart on the most romantic day of the year on Monday (14Feb11).
Eve tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "It sucks, but we won't be able to be together because we're both working. He's not a celebrity, thank God."
However, despite not seeing her lover on the big day, Eve is still expecting an expensive gift: "He'd better get me (some) earrings - that's all I care about."
Khalifa Lands 999th U.S. Number One
Rapper Wiz Khalifa has scored the Billboard Hot 100's 999th number one.
His Black & Yellow hit jumps up three spots on the new chart to land at number one.
That means next week's top track could be the countdown's 1,000th since Ricky Nelson scored the first Hot 100 number one, Poor Little Fool, in 1958.
Lady Gaga's hotly-anticipated Born This Way, which is released on Friday (11Feb11), is the clear favourite to land the landmark number one, while Khalifa, Pink and the cast of Glee are also in with a shot.
