Does anyone else think it’s a little bit strange that Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas have recorded a duet together about their break up?
Now, I’m used to hearing couples in love warbling on about butterflies and love hearts, but singing about how you dumped your ex over the phone… how can you make that into a number one hit?
But, against all the odd’s, Jonas has confirmed the two pop stars, who split last year after a lengthy teen romance, have teamed up to rework a broken heart tune, called Before the Storm.
The track was leaked online over the weekend, but fans refused to believe the former lovers had recorded a track together so now, Jonas has confirmed to American teen publication Twist, that the tune is for real.
He says, "There’s two versions of the song basically, one that was written just for our record that we sang originally. And then I played it for Miley and we realized that if we just changed the lyrics a bit, we could make it more of our story, kind of share that side of us, and it could be great. So, we did.
"She came in and she and I sat down at the piano and just worked on lyrics a bit, tweaked it up, and it turned out great."
