It's World Turtle Day, and to celebrate, we've decided to take a look back at one of the most memorable characters to have ever come from Disney's plethora of incredible movies; Crush from Finding Nemo.
He may only be in the movie for a matter of minutes, but his contribution to the journey undertaken by Marlin, in looking for his lost son, is one that sets in motion the final act of the film.
We've also gotta pay props to Crush's offspring, Squirt! Without a doubt one of the cutest animated creatures we've ever seen, he's vital in explaining to Marlin and Dory the "proper exiting technique" so they can make it to Sydney.
To pay proper homage, here are some of the best quotes from Finding Nemo, from Crush and Squirt themselves:
- Crush: Oh. Intro- Jellyman, offspring. Offspring, Jellyman.
- Crush: You, Mini-Man, takin' on the jellies. You've got serious thrill issues, dude. Awesome.
