Hugh Jackman as Wolverine
We all love Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and he is back on the big-screen next week in The Wolverine.
This is clearly a role that Jackman loves as he will also be making an appearance in X-Men: Days of Future Past next year.
And while you would think that all those projects would be enough for the actor, he has revealed that he wants to appear in Avengers 2.
Avengers 2 is currently being written by Joss Whedon, he will also be returning as the director, and will be hitting screens in 2015.
We expect most of the cast from the first film to return; while Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch have already been confirmed as some of the new characters.
But would you like to see the Wolverine suit up once more and join the likes of Iron Man, Thor and Captain America in saving the world?
I am going to nail my colours to the mast and say that I would love to see Wolverine appear in Avengers 2.
He is one of the most complex characters in the Marvel universe and he is not always a team play.
Logan and Tony Stark both trying to get their way - not to mention the dry and sarcastic humour that they both have - would make for compelling and hilarious viewing.
Of course, there is the little issue of Marvel not actually owning the rights to the X-Men; which does make things a tad more tricky.
However it does make financial sense for studios to come together to split the mammoth cost of making big budget movies likes this; whether they got get along is another matter.
It could be a little late to shoe-horn Wolverine into Avengers 2 but it would be nice to see him make an appearance at some point further along the line.
But until then The Wolverine sees the popular Japanese story arc from the comic books brought to life, in what would be the second stand alone film for this fantastic character.
The Wolverine is released 26th July.
