White Bird in a Blizzard
Shailene Woodley is one of the most exciting young actresses around, and 2014 has already been a hugely successful year.
That looks set to continue, as she will return to the big screen in White Bird in a Blizzard: which is an adaptation of the novel by Laura Kasischke.
This will be the third book adaptation Woodley has starred in this year, after Divergent and The Fault In Our Stars.
The movie sees Woodley team up with Shiloh Fernandez, and the pair feature in this brand new clip:
A great cast has been assembled for White Bird In A Blizzard, as Woodley and Fernandez are joined by Eva Green, Christopher Meloni, Thomas Jane, Angela Bassett, and Gabourey Sidibe.
Kat Connors is 17 years old when her perfect homemaker mother, Eve, a beautiful, enigmatic, and haunted woman, disappears - just as Kat is discovering and relishing her newfound sexuality.
Having lived for so long in a stifled, emotionally repressed household, she barely registers her mother’s absence and certainly doesn’t blame her doormat of a father, Brock, for the loss.
In fact, it’s almost a relief. But as time passes, Kat begins to come to grips with how deeply Eve’s disappearance has affected her.
Returning home on a break from college, she finds herself confronted with the truth about her mother’s departure, and her own denial about the events surrounding it...
