Jonathan Ke Quan made his name appearing in one of the most successful franchises of all time as well as one of the best kids movies ever... so what happened to him after the success of these two movies?
He kicks off his acting career in 1984 when he landed the role of Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
Starring with Harrison Ford in a Steven Spielberg directed movie is not a bad way to kick off your acting career - not to mention that Indiana Jones is one of the biggest and most popular franchises of all time.
Temple of Doom was a box office smash and had the biggest opening weekend of any movie in 1984. It went on to takes in excess of $333 million worldwide.
The Goonies was his next movie and it was another Spielberg project as the Oscar winning filmmaker served as executive producer.
Richard Donner was in the director's chair for a film which saw Ke Quan take on the role of Data.
The movie followed a group of friends who set off in search of the lost treasure of pirate One Eyed Willie in a last attempt to save their home.
The Goonies saw Ke Quan star alongside Sean Astin, Josh Brolin and Corey Feldman.
The movie has gone on to gain a cult following over the years and it remains one of the best kids movies of all time - they really do not make them like this anymore.
But this was really the last high profile role that Ke Quan had
He appeared in TV series such as Together We Stand and Head of the Class as well as movies such as Breathing Fire and Encino Man throughout the late eighties and early nineties.
However his acting career never really took off and Second Time Around back in 2002 was the last time that we saw him on the big screen.
Despite not being on the big screen Ke Quan has stayed in the film industry as he has worked as a stunt choreographer having studied Taekwondo .
He has worked on the likes of X-Men and The One in recent years.
