Ever since it was announced that Benedict Cumberbatch had landed the role of Doctor Strange, I have been super excited for the film and can't wait to see him in action.

While we are going to have to wait until the end of October until we finally see the finished movie... the very first full-length trailer for the film has been unveiled. And it really is promising to be an epic ride. Take a look:
While Cumberbatch is no stranger to the big screen or the blockbuster film, Doctor Strange is the biggest film role of his career to date and is set to send his star rocketing even further.
It will be interesting to see where this character fits into the Marvel Universe and if we are going to see him make an appearance in an Avengers film. This character has already had a name drop in Captain America: Winter Solider.
However, it is not all about Cumberbatch as a fantastic cast last has been assembled for the film as Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mads Mikkelsen And Tilda Swinton are all also set to star.
Doctor Strange sees Scott Derrickson in the director's chair to helm his first Marvel film. He has brought us movies such as Sinister and The Exorcism of Emily Rose but this is his first feature since Deliver Us From Evil back in 2014.
This is set to be the biggest film of Derrickson's directing career and I really am looking forward to seeing what he delivers. I don't know about you, but I think that the trailer really does look incredibly promising.
When Dr. Stephen Strange's medical career is left in tatters, he is taken under the wing of a sorcerer and trains him to defend the world against evil.
Doctor Strange will be the second of two Marvel films to be released this year - the first being Captain America: Civil War. This is just one of the new franchises that will be introduced during Phase 3.
Doctor Strange is released 28th October.
