Arrival marks the return of Denis Villeneuve, who has brought us movies such as Prisoners and Sicario in recent years, to the director's chair and it is exciting to see him tackle the science fiction genre.
Amy Adams is set to take on the central role of linguist expert Louise Banks, who finds herself in the middle of an alien invasion.
