Daniel Radcliffe is one of the most exciting young acting talents around and he is back on the big screen this week with Kill Your Darlings.
The movie marks the return of Radcliffe as this is his first film since the success of The Woman In Black back at the beginning of 2013.
Kill Your Darlings is one of Radcliffe's most daring movie roles to date, as he continues to move away from his Harry Potter image.
The movie sees Radcliffe team up with first time filmmaker John Krokidas, as he take on the role of poet Allen Ginsberg.
Set in the 1940’s during the early days of the literary revolution, Kill Your Darlings is a true crime thriller based on the previously untold story of a murder that implicated the men who went on to become the great poets of the Beat Generation; Allen Ginsberg, Lucien Carr, Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs.
Kill Your Darlings kicks off a busy movie period for Radcliffe as he has a series of exciting projects on the horizon.
- Horns is another of Radcliffe films as the Joe Hill novel is adapted for the big screen.
The movie sees Alexandre Aja return to the director's chair for the first time since Piranaha 3D; he is also working with Radcliffe for the first time.
Keith Bunin has adapted Hill's novel and in the aftermath of his girlfriend's mysterious death, a young man awakens to strange horns sprouting from his temples.
Radcliffe is joined by an exciting cast as Juno Temple, Heather Graham, Max Minghella and James Remar are all also on board.
- The F Word is another film that Radcliffe has also completed work on and sees him part of another exciting cast.
Adam Driver, Zoe Kazan, Rafe Spall and Jemima Rooper are all star to star in the romance comedy; I am personally looking forward to seeing Radcliffe show off his rom/com side.
The F Word is based on the play by T.J. Dawe and Michael Rinaldi and has been adapted into a screenplay by Elan Mastai.
The film sees Michael Dowse in the director's chair for what is his first film since the success of Goon back in 2012.
The F World follows a young man struggles with his deepening connection to a woman who is in a relationship.
Over the next year we are going to see many different sides to Radcliffe as an actor as he tackles a range of different characters and genres. He also has a couple more projects in the pipeline as both Tokyo Vice & Frankenstein are in pre-production.
Tokyo Vice is a drama/thriller from Anthony Mandler, while Frankesntein will take on the role of Igor alongside James McAvoy as Victor Von Frankenstein.
Kill Your Darlings is released 6th December.
