The Nice Guys is set to be the film not to miss this weekend as Shane Black returns to the director's chair.
The Nice Guys is the third feature film of Black's directing career and follows on from the success of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Iron Man 3. I don't know about you, but I cannot wait to see what he delivers with the latest film.
As well as being in the director's chair, Black has also teamed up with Anthony Bagarozzi to pen the screenplay and bring 1970s Los Angeles to life.
The movie sees Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling take on the central roles of enforcer Jackson Healy and private investigator Holland March... and they look set to make a terrific film team.
And you can see the duo in action in this terrific new clip from the film. Take a look:
The movie marks the first time that Crowe and Gosling have shared the screen and it is also the first time that both actors have worked with Black.
And the filmmaker has assembled an exciting cast list as Matt Bomer, Kim Basinger, Keith David, Angourie Rice, Beau Knapp, and Margaret Qualley are also on board.
The Nice Guys takes place in 1970s Los Angeles, when down-on-his-luck private eye Holland March (Gosling) and hired enforcer Jackson Healy (Crowe) must work together to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star.
During their investigation, they uncover a shocking conspiracy that reaches up to the highest circles of power.
The Nice Guys has already won over American audiences and critics and it looks set to be a huge hit here in the UK this weekend.
The Nice Guys is released 3rd June.
