Nancy Meyers returns to the director's chair this week with her new comedy film The Intern, which sees her team up with Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro.
The Intern marks the first time that Meyers has worked with both of the Oscar winning actors and it is also her first feature since It's Complicated back in 2009 - I don't know about you, but it is great to see her back.
Meyers has brought us movies such as What Woman Want and The Parent Trap during her career and she has penned the screenplay as well as being in the director's chair for the film.
I am looking forward to seeing Hathaway team up with De Niro as they both return to the comedy genre and you can see both actors in action in trio of great new clips to whet your appetite before the film's release at the end of the week. Check them out:
Hathaway takes on the role of the CEO of an online fashion site, while De Niro is set to star as the company's new intern - it will be the first time that Hathaway and De Niro have worked together.
2015 has been a very quiet year for Anne Hathaway as we have not seen her on the big screen since the huge success of Interstellar - The Intern is also going to be her only film in 2015.
In The Intern, De Niro stars as Ben Whittaker, a 70-year-old widower who has discovered that retirement isn't all it's cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin (Hathaway).
Meyers has been behind some terrific comedy movies over the years and it is great to see her back with this genre of film. The Intern is promising to be a movie that is a lot of fun with a great central partnership between two terrific actors.
The Intern is released 2nd October.
