The Host is a movie that has been surrounded in excitement ever since it was announced that it was going to be adapted for the big screen... and this week we finally get to check out.
This is the fourth of Stephenie Meyer's novels to be adapted for the big screen as she tackled the sci-fi genre with this story.
It is set to be a great year for the science fiction genre and The Host will kick things off this week in fine style.
Saoirse Ronan will lead an exciting cast as she takes on the role of heroine Melanie Stryder.

The Host's cast list boasts a mix of young talent as well as established stars as Ronan, Max Irons and Jake Abel star alongside Diane Kruger and William Hurt.
The movie also sees the return of Andrew Niccol to the director's chair in what is his first film since In Time.
As well as being in the director's chair he has also penned the screenplay and he is no stranger to the sci-fi genre with In Time and Gattaca under his belt.
The Host is a riveting story about the survival of love and the human spirit in a time of war. Our world has been invaded by an unseen enemy.
Humans become hosts for these invaders, their minds taken over while their bodies remain intact. Most of humanity has succumbed.
