There is now just a week to go until The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, and I am super excited to see the second instalment of this trilogy.
The Desolation of Smaug sees Bilbo Baggins and the dwarves continue on their quest... but we also come face to face with one of the most exciting characters of the year. Of course, I am talking about dragon Smaug.
We have been teased all year about this character and now we are finally going to get to see him in all of his glory.
But before that, we have some fantastic new clips for the film to wet your appetite:
Martin Freeman is back as Bilbo, while Ian McKellan, Richard Armitage and Ken Stott are all back.
The new clips give us a look at the new cast members as Luke Evans, Orlando Bloom and Evangeline Lilly; as well as a closer look as Lee Pace as Thranduil.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug continues the adventures of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
Peter Jackson is back in the director's as he takes us back to Middle Earth for the fifth film; the movie's release will also coincide with the tenth anniversary of The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is released 13th December.
