There is now less than a week to go before The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies hits the big screen, and I can't wait to return to Middle Earth next weekend.
The Battle of the Five Armies is a blockbuster movie that I have been looking forward to all year, and it looks like Peter Jackson is going to close out The Hobbit franchise in style.
We are counting down the days until the movie is released here at FemaleFirst, and we have a trio of great new clips for you to check out and whet your appetite:
The Battle of the Five Armies is promising to be the biggest and darkest of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit movies, as elves, men, and dwarves have to unite to see off the forces of Sauron - a force that has been hanging over the entire franchise.
This will be the sixth and final time that we explore Middle Earth with Jackson, and it is going to be sad to see another of his franchises come to a close.
However, a magnificent cast is returning, as Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Ian McKellen, Orlando Bloom, and Luke Evans are all back. It also looks like we are going to see much more of Lee pace as Thranduil, Legolas' father.
The Dwarves of Erebor have reclaimed the vast wealth of their homeland, but now must face the consequences of having unleashed the terrifying Dragon, Smaug, upon the defenceless men, women and children of Lake-town.
As he succumbs to dragon-sickness, the King Under the Mountain, Thorin Oakenshield, sacrifices friendship and honour in his search for the legendary Arkenstone. Unable to help Thorin see reason, Bilbo is driven to make a desperate and dangerous choice, not knowing that even greater perils lie ahead.
An ancient enemy has returned to Middle-earth. Sauron, the Dark Lord, has sent forth legions of Orcs in a stealth attack upon the Lonely Mountain.
As darkness converges on their escalating conflict, the races of Dwarves, Elves and Men must decide - unite or be destroyed. Bilbo finds himself fighting for his life and the lives of his friends as five great armies go to war.
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is set to be the movie not to miss this December and promises to be one of the most successful blockbusters of 2015.
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is released 12th December.
