There has been a real lack of Sandra Bullock on the big screen over the last twelve months but all that is about to change as she has a new film on the horizon.
The Oscar winning actress will be showing off her comic talents once more as she teams up with fellow funny woman Melissa McCarthy for The Heat.

Bullock last appeared on the big screen at the beginning of last year in Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close and we have sadly not seen her since.
But with this new movie she will be taking on the role of Special Agent Sarah Ashburn and taking on the bad guys.
The movie also marks the return to the director's chair for Paul Feig for what is his first film since the huge success of Bridesmaids.
The Heat will reunite him with McCarthy in what is set to be a busy movie year for the actress.
McCarthy fans will be delighted to know that This Is 40 and Identity Thief are also on the horizon for her this year.
Uptight FBI Special Agent Sarah Ashburn (Bullock) and foul-mouthed Boston cop Shannon Mullins (McCarthy) couldn’t be more incompatible.
But when they join forces to bring down a ruthless drug lord, they become the last thing anyone expected: buddies.
