The Fifth Estate

The Fifth Estate

The Fifth Estate sees Benedict Cumberbatch return to the big screen this week in the thriller on the rise of WikiLeaks.

Cumberbatch has become one of the most in demand actors in the last twelve months and he is back to play the role of Julian Assange.

The film will be released this week and we have some great clips for you to check out:

The Fifth Estate sees Bill Condon back in the director's chair for a film in what is his first movie since The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, as he teams up with Cumberbatch for the first time.

Condon has brought together a terrific cast for this film as Cumberbatch
stars alongside Daniel Brühl; who will take on the role of Daniel Domscheit-Berg.

Domscheit-Berg's book Inside WikiLeaks: My Time with Julian Assange and the World's Most Dangerous Website has inspired part of the film's story.

Anthony Mackie, David Thewlis, Alicia Vikander, Stanley Tucci and Laura Linney make up the rest of the impressive cast list.

The Fifth Estate premiered the Toronto International Film Festival - where it opened the festival - and since then it has been whipping up controversy.

The film looks set to get critics and audiences talking when it hits the big screen on Friday.

The Fifth Estate is released 11th October.
