It was last year when actor Dexter Fletcher made his directorial debut with Wild Bill, and now he is back with Sunshine on Leith.
This time around the actor turned director tackles the musical for the first time.
Sunshine On Leith is based on the hugely successful stage show from writer Stephen Greenhorn; who was on hand to adapt the show into a screenplay.
This looks set to be one of the most upbeat films of the year, and we have the brand new trailer for you to take a look at:
And Fletcher has brought together a fantastic cast as he mixed experienced stars with young and upcoming talent.
Peter Mullan and Jane Horrocks are the two vastly experienced actors to watch out for, while George MacKay and Kevin Guthrie take on the central roles of Davy and Ally.
Sunshine on Leith is a jubilant, heartfelt musical about the power of home, the hearth, family and love.
It is the tale of one tight-knit family, and the three couples bound to it, as they experience the joys and heartache that punctuate all relationships. And they do it all while singing to the euphoric music of The Proclaimers.
I was a huge fan of Fletcher's debut Wild Bill and I am excited to see his directing career in a very different direction.
