Suicide Squad is already one of the most talked about and anticipated movies of next year and it is one of the 2016 films that I really cannot wait to see.

There may still be over a year to go until the movie hits the big screen but it was part of this year's Comic Con - where we got a look at the first trailer for the film.
I don't know about you, but the trailer really is promising that Suicide Squad will be unlike any other 'superhero/comic book' movie that we have seen before... I also cannot wait to see Jared Leto in action as the Joker.
Leto perhaps has the toughest job of anyone on the cast list, as he is set to take over the role of the Joker from Heath Ledger - who won an Oscar for his performance in The Dark Knight. Oscar winner Leto looks set to put his own stamp on this iconic character and the trailer shows he is going to be pretty terrifying:
A terrific cast has been assembled for the film, as Will Smith, Joel Kinnaman, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne and Viola Davis are on board as Deadshot, Rick Flagg, Harley Quinn, Boomerang, Enchantress, and Amanda Waller.
Suicide Squad also marks the return of David Ayer to the director's chair for what will be his first movie since Fury - this will also be the first time that he has tackled a comic book film project. I really cannot wait to see what he delivers.

Suicide Squad was one of the Comic Con highlights and the excitement surrounding the film has only grown with the release of this terrific trailer. It really is set to be one of the must see movies of 2016 and has box office smash written all over it!!!
Suicide Squad is released August 2016.
