We love Stanley Tucci here at FemaleFirst and the actor is back on the big screen this week in Jack The Giant Slayer.
Jack The Giant Slayer is the first time that we have seen Tucci on the big screen since the not so great Gambit and it kicks off a very busy year for the actor.
Jack The Giant Slayer is a new take on popular tale Jack And The Beanstalk and it is the latest fairy story to be adapted for the big screen - following in the footsteps of Snow White and the Huntsman, Mirror Mirror and Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters in the last twelve months.
Bryan Singer is in the director's chair for the movie while Tucci is joined on the cast list by Nicholas Hoult, Ewan McGregor and Eleanor Tomlinson.
Tucci takes on the role of Roderick in the movie - an advisor to the king who wants to take the throne for himself.
The movie has already topped the box office in America and that success is set to continue here when the movie is released at the end of the week.
And it is all about the blockbuster movie this year for Tucci as Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters will be next to hit the big screen.
Tucci is one of the new faces on the cast list as he takes on the role of Dionysus.
Logan Lerman and Sean Bean are back as Percy Jackson and Zeus while Nathan Fillion and Anthony Head are also new additions.
Thor Freudenthal replaces Chris Columbus in the director's chair and the movie follows Percy as he sets off to find the golden fleece that will restore their dying safe haven.
But the movie that everyone is really excited about this year is The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - which will see Tucci reprise the role of Caesar Flickerman.
The Hunger Games was one of the most successful movies of 2012 as the Suzanne Collins novel was adapted for the big screen.
All three novels are set to be turned into movies and filming on Catching Fire has recently wrapped.
Catching Fire will be one of the biggest hits of the years as Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Elizabeth Banks are all returning to their roles.
But it is not all about promoting movies this year as Tucci is currently filming Larry Gaye: Renegade Male Flight Attendant.
He is also lending his voice to animation film Mr Peabody & Sherman and has been linked to Your Voice in My Head.
Stanley Tucci is one of the most versatile actors working in Hollywood at the moment as he can easily jump from the big budget blockbuster to a smaller character driven movie.
The last few years has seen him land some of his biggest roles and enjoyed some of his greatest success... and that looks set to continue into the rest of 2013.
Jack The Giant Slayer is released 22nd March
