Song For Marion

If you are looking for some great British drama to enjoy on the big screen at the beginning of 2013 then look no further than Song For Marion.

A truly terrific cast has been assembled for the movie as Terence Stamp, Gemma Arterton, Vanessa Redgrave, Christopher Eccleston and Anne Reid are all set to star.

And we have a great new clip for the film for you to take a look at:

The movie marks the return to the director's chair for Paul Andrew Williams for what is his first movie since Cherry Tree Lane in 2010.

But Williams has been behind some great movies including London To Brighton and The Cottage.

Williams has also penned the screenplay for the film while Ken Marshall and Philip Moross have produced.

Song for Marion is a comedic drama about grumpy pensioner Arthur (Stamp) who is reluctantly inspired by his beloved wife Marion (Redgrave) to join a highly unconventional local choir.

At odds with his son James (Eccleston), it is left to choir director Elizabeth (Arterton) to try and persuade Arthur that he can learn to embrace life.

Arthur must confront the undercurrents of his own grumbling persona as he embarks on a hilarious, life-affirming journey of musical self discovery.
