Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie is the first time that we have seen these iconic characters on the big screen and I cannot wait to see them up there in all of their glory. There have been some wonderful animation films this year, but Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie is the one that I have been looking forward to the most.

Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and co were the creations of Charles M. Schulz and Bryan and Craig Schulz have had a hand in penning the screenplay while Steve Martino is back in the director's chair.
Martino is no stranger to the animation genre and has retained the charm of the original comic strip and cartoon series while putting his own stamp on the film.
Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the beloved 'Peanuts' gang make their big-screen debut, like they've never been seen before, in state of the art 3D animation.

It has been a terrific week for Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie as it was nominated for Best Animated Film at the Golden Globes.
The movie has also picked up five Annie Award nominations, including Best Animated Feature. I think we may just see it in the Oscar mix as well.
Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie is released 21st December.
