Pride And Prejudice And Zombies has its UK premiere in London last night and the stars turned out in force - despite the weather - to walk the red carpet and promote the new horror/comedy.
Lily James is set to take on the central role of Elizabeth Bennet, who is a kick-ass heroine who is taking the fight to the zombie invasion. This movie really does depict this iconic character as we have never seen her before.
James stunned in her black two-piece dress by Erdem and was joined on the red carpet by Suki Waterhouse, Bella Heathcote, Sam Riley, Matt Smith, Douglas Booth, Jack Huston, Charles Dance, and director Burr Steers.
Steers has brought us movies such as Igby Goes Down and 17 Again but this is his first feature since The Death and Life of Charlie St Cloud back in 2010.
Pride And Prejudice And Zombies is a movie that has been in the pipeline for some time and is an adaptation of the book by Seth Grahame-Smith, which is based on the Jane Austen classic. As well as being in the director's chair, Steers has also penned the book into a screenplay.
A mysterious plague has fallen upon 19th century England, the land is overrun with the undead and feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet is a master of martial arts and weaponry.
Casting aside personal and social prejudices, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy must unite on the blood-soaked battlefield to rid the country of the zombie menace and discover their true love for one another.
Pride And Prejudice And Zombies is released 11th February.
