One Direction: This Is Us
One Direction are the biggest boyband on the planet and in 2013 they won't just be taking over the music charts but the box office as well.
One Direction: This Is Us is the first foray into film for the boys as they team up with Oscar nominated filmmaker Morgan Spurlock.
1D fans may have a bit of a wait to see the movie but we have a trio of new images to wet your appetite:
One Direction: This Is Us is the first directorial outing for Spurlock since Mansome last year and he has been behind documentaries such as Super Sized Me and The Greatest Movie Ever Sold.
Simon Cowell is also on board the project and will serve as one of the producers.
One Direction: This Is Us will be part docudrama and part 3-D concert movie, telling the story of the five members' origins -- how they were put together by Simon Cowell after they all competed on The X-Factor (in the UK).
The film will also sees us meet their families, explore their dreams, and delve into what their meteoric rise to fame feels like.
The movie will also be a bit of a love letter to One Direction’s loyal fan base.
One Direction: This Is Us is released 30th August.
