Gerard Butler has taken on some great action roles over the years and he is back with another one in the form of Olympus Has Fallen.
There is just over a week until we see the movie hit the big screen as Butler is called upon to protect the President of the United States.
The movie looks set to be action packed and see Butler at his action hero best and we have some clips from the film for you to check out:
Antoine Fuqua is a director who has also made some great action films and he is back chair with this movie.
Fuqua hasn't helmed a film since Brooklyn's Finest since 2010 and he will be teaming up with Butler for the very first time.
Aaron Eckhart is also set to star as he plays the President who finds himself in the middle of a terrorist attack.
Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett, Rick Yune and Melissa Leo make up this exciting and talented cast list.
As a pitched battle rages on the White House lawn, former presidential security officer Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) joins the fray, only to find himself the last Secret Service member alive in the besieged building.
Banning uses his extensive training and detailed knowledge of the presidential residence to become the eyes and ears of Acting President Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman) and his advisors.
As the invaders begin executing hostages and threaten to kill more unless their outrageous demands are met, Banning tries frantically to locate the president’s young son, hidden somewhere in the building, and rescue the president before the terrorists can unleash their ultimate, terrifying plan.
As the body count mounts and the clock ticks down, it becomes clear that Banning is America’s only hope of avoiding utter annihilation.
Olympus Has Fallen is released 17th April.
