Michael B. Jordan is one of the most exciting young acting talents around and he is set to return to the big screen in Creed.
Creed is an exciting new chapter in the Rocky story and sees Ryan Coogler - who brought us the fantastic Fruitvale Station - back in the director's chair. It was Fruitvale Station that helped by Jordan on the map and he has reunited with the filmmaker for their second feature together.
Jordan is set to take on the role of Adonis Creed, the son of Rocky's former rival and friend Apollo Creed, who has followed in his father's footsteps and carved a career for himself in the ring.
The first trailer for this highly anticipated movie has arrived and we have got it for you to take a look at:
The Rocky movies are some of the greatest boxing films of all time with great stories and fantastic characters and it is great to see Sylvester Stallone back in this great role.
Yes, Stallone will be returning as former World Heavyweight Champion Rocky Balboa, who takes Creed under his wing as trainer and mentor - just like Mickey Goldmill did for Rocky years earlier.
I am looking forward to seeing Stallone and Jordan share the screen together and they are joined on the cast list by Graham McTavish, Tessa Thompson, and Phylicia Rashad.
Creed will mark only the second feature film of Coogler's directing career and comes a year after he made his feature film directorial debut with Fruitvale Station. He is a director to watch out for over the next few years and I cannot wait to see him put his own stamp on a new strand of this popular franchise.
Creed is released 27th November.
