Not Another Happy Ending
Karen Gillan is set to make a name for herself on the big screen in the coming year, and she starts with new film Not Another Happy Ending.
Before we see Gillan in the blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy, she is going to tackle the rom-com as she teams up with director John McKay.

McKay has worked mostly in TV for the last few years with the likes of The Whistleblowers and Lip Service under his belt.
But now he is returning to feature film as he brings David Solomons script to life.
Gillan is joined on the cast list by Stanley Weber, Kate Dickie, Amy Manson and Iain de Caestecker
When struggling, maverick publisher Tomas Duval (Weber) discovers his only successful author Jane Lockhart (Gillan) is blocked he knows he has to unblock her or he’s finished - with her newfound success, she’s become too damn happy and she can’t write when she’s happy.
The only trouble is, the worse he makes her feel, the more he realises he is in love with her...
Not Another Happy Ending received its world premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival - where is was the movie that closed the event.
Gillan is an actress who is well and truly on the rise and Not Another Happy Ending looks set to kick off her film success.
Not Another Happy Ending is released 11th October.
