Not Another Happy Ending
If there is one British actress that you should be keeping an eye on over the next twelve months then it is Karen Gillan.
The former Doctor Who star is starting to make a name for herself on the big screen and she has some very exciting projects ahead of her.
While she may be set to star in Guardians of the Galaxy we are going to be able to first see her in new film Not Another Happy Ending.
And we have the first trailer for the film for you to take a look at:
John McKay is in the director's chair for the film and this is a project that sees him reunite with Gillan.
The pair worked together for the first time on TV movie We'll Take Manhattan and now they are teaming up once again.
Gillan is joined on the cast list by Stanley Weber, Iain De Caestecker, Amy Manson and Kate Dickie.
Shot in Glasgow last year Not Another Happy Ending is a quirky, indie romance which sees Karen play writer Jane Lockhart who is suffering from writer’s block on her second novel, after achieving huge success with her first.
Gillan is an actress who is going from strength to strength and the next couple of years are going to be very exciting for her.
The movie will receive it's world premiere at the Edinburgh Festival on June 30th.
