Idris Elba is returning to the big screen this week as he stars in new crime/thriller No Good Deed.
No Good Deed marks the return of Sam Miller to the director's chair, and has already topped the U.S. box office.
Miller is best known for his work in TV with the likes of Single Father, Spooks, and Luther under his belt. No Good Deed is his first feature film since Elephant Juice back in 1999, and sees him reunite with Elba for the first time since working with him on hit TV show Luther.
The movie will be released at the end of the week and we have some great new clips to whet your appetite - it is always great to see Elba back on the big screen:
We are so use to seeing Elba play a good guy; it is great to see him play the villain in this new movie. The film sees him team up with Taraji P. Henson for the first time, while Leslie Bibb and Kate del Castillo are also on board.
Terri (Henson) is a devoted wife and mother of two, living an ideal suburban life in Atlanta when Colin (Elba), a charming but dangerous escaped convict, shows up at her door claiming car trouble.
Terri offers her phone to help him but soon learns that no good deed goes unpunished as she finds herself fighting for survival when he invades her home and terrorizes her family.
We have been treated to some great crime dramas so far this autumn, and No Good Deed promises to be another not to miss this weekend.
No Good Deed is released 21st November.
