Nicholas Hoult is one of the most exciting young actors, and he is back on the big screen this week in X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Days of Future Past is a second X-Men movie for Hoult, as he reprises the role of Beast: we were introduced to Hoult's interpretation of Hank McCoy for the first time in X-Men: First Class.
The movie sees him reunite with Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, and Jennifer Lawrence, while he also stars alongside Hugh Jackman and Evan Peters.
Days of Future Past will also see Hoult work with director Bryan Singer for a second time, as Singer returns to the X-Men franchise. The pair worked together for the first time on Jack the Giant Slayer.
This latest X-Men instalment is the sequel to First Class, and is set to be one of the biggest and most successful films of the summer.
It will also kick off a busy year for Hoult, as he has a series of exciting films in the pipeline.
He will switch the blockbuster for the drama/thriller later this year, as he stars in Dark Places.
Directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner, Dark Places is a big screen adaptation of the novel of the same name by Gillian Flynn.
Charlize Theron will play the central role of a woman who survives the murder of her family when she is a child.
However, she is faced to confront those events of the past, when she comes face to face with a society that are obsessed with trying to solve notorious crimes.
Hoult's character is part of this society, while Tye Sheridan, Chloe Moretz, and Christina Hendricks are also on board.
Hoult will also star alongside Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road: another movie that he has completed work on.
The film will see George Miller - who directed the original Mad Max films - return to the helm for this latest instalment.
Tom Hardy will take on the central role of Max Rockatansky alongside Hoult and Theron, while Zoe Kravitz and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley are also on board.
However, we will not be seeing Mad Max hit the road until next May.
Hoult has also teamed up with filmmaker Eran Creevy for new action/thriller Autobahn.
The movie will see the British actor star alongside Felicity Jones, Anthony Hopkins, and Ben Kingsley.
Kill Your Friends is another project that he is working on, as John Niven's book is adapted for the big screen.
Rosanna Arquette, James Corden Ed Skrein, and Craig Roberts will star, while Owen Harris is in the director's chair.
The crime/comedy follows an A&R man working at the height of the Britpop music craze goes to extremes in order to find his next hit.
Hoult also has a couple of projects in pre-production, as he is set to lend his voice to Once Upon a Time in the Kitchen and star in Equals.
Hoult is one of the most in demand young actors, and he has a very busy 2014/15 ahead of him.
X-Men: Days of Future Past is released 22nd May.
