Spy is set to be one of the movies that you don't miss this summer as Melissa McCarthy reunites with filmmaker Paul Feig.
Spy with be the third collaboration between the actress and the director; the pair have already worked on and enjoyed success with Bridesmaids and The Heat in recent years.
Feig is back in the director's chair for the first time since The Heat; he has also penned the screenplay as well as being at the helm.
Spy is one of the summer movies that I am looking forward to the most as it promises to be an action packed and very funny ride. A brand new clip has been released and sees McCarthy come face to face with Rose Byrne:
McCarthy and Byrne also worked together on Bridesmaids and it is great to see them sharing the screen together once more.
And the duo are part of a terrific cast, as Jason Statham, Jude Law, Allison Janney, Bobby Cannavale are all also on board.
Susan Cooper (McCarthy) is an unassuming, deskbound CIA analyst, and the unsung hero behind the Agency's most dangerous missions.
But when her partner (Law) falls off the grid and another top agent (Statham) is compromised, she volunteers to go deep undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, and prevent a global disaster.
This summer's film schedule is going to be packed with big budget blockbusters once again and Spy is going to be a welcome injection of comedy relief. Can't wait to see what McCarthy and Feig deliver this time around.
