Next month (March, 2022) is just around the corner, and so are an exciting list of cinematic releases, from The Batman to Morbius; see what March has to offer!
The Batman – March 4th
Perhaps one of the most highly-anticipated films of this year (2022), The Batman has almost arrived.
Fans of the beloved Caped Crusader are excited to watch Robert Pattinson’s Batman in his new adventure against The Riddler (Paul Dano), who is terrorising the city of Gotham.
The trailers show an incredibly dark version of the iconic City, as well as putting a new spin on Bruce Wayne; this movie will definitely be one of the most talked about features this year, as it seems it will be unlike any of the Batman films that have come before it.
Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre – March 18th
Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie reunite for this action-packed film that follows the good guys trying to take out the bad guys.
Orson Fortune (Statham) must team up with Sarah Fidel (Aubrey Plaza) and famous actor Danny Francesco (Josh Hartnett) in order to stop some dangerous tech from staying in the wrong hands, namely, the hands of Greg Simmonds (Hugh Grant).
Fortune must stop the selling of these weapons in order to save numerous lives.
The Nan Movie – March 18th
Everyone’s favourite senior citizen is back, as Catherine Tate suits up as one of her most beloved characters for a cinematic adventure.
Joannie Taylor’s (Tate) grandson, Jamie (Mathew Horne), convinces her to travel across the UK in order to meet his aunt, Nell Taylor (Katherine Parkinson), who Nan Joannie hasn’t spoken to in years.
As expected, Jamie and his Nan get into all sorts of trouble on their way to Nell’s, but could we expect anything else from Tate?
Ambulance – March 25th
Jake Gyllenhaal (Spider-Man: Far From Home) and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Candyman, 2021) star together in this fast-paced movie about doing the wrong thing for the right reasons.
Will Sharpe (Abdul-Mateen II), a decorated veteran, is in desperate need of money that will cover his wife’s medical bills, so he enlists the help of his adoptive brother, Danny (Gyllenhaal), to pull off a heist.
Aiming to steal $32 million, the brothers run into some... unexpected problems.
Morbius – March 31st
Despite being delayed several times already, it seems that Marvel’s Morbius is finally heading to the big screen; hopefully, this time, it stays within reach.
Jared Leto stars in the titular role of Doctor Michael Morbius, a scientist who takes a massive risk to find the cure to his deadly disease; however, the experiment goes wrong and turns him into some kind of monster...
This movie has quite a lot of potential to me something brilliant, but delays have caused fans to become somewhat unsure of this feature; trailers however, have teased an interesting, exciting watch, so it should definitely be worth the entry fee.
