Zac Efron is set to star and produce the big screen adaptation of The Associate.
The movie sees another of John Grisham's novels given the big screen treatment - the book was released in 2009.
Shia LeBeouf was originally attached to star in the film, but The Wrap reports that Efron is now on board to play the central character.
Efron's company Ninjas Runnin' Wild is also aboard the project, alongside Red Wagon Entertainment. Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher from Red Wagon Entertainment are also set to produce.
A writer is currently being hunter for the project, and no director has yet been announced.
Efron will be back on the big screen later this year, as he teams up with Seth Rogen for new comedy Bad Neighbours.
Bad Neighbours will mark the second comedy of the year for the actor, having starred in That Awkward Moment at the beginning of 2014.
