X-Men: Days of Future Past is enjoying further box office success by opening in the #1 spot in the UK.
Days of Future Past hit the big screen on Friday and had the biggest opening weekend of the year so far, taking over £9 million.
The Bryan Singer directed film stormed to the top of the UK box office, toppling fellow blockbuster Godzilla along the way.
Days of Future Past has also topped the box office in the U.S. and has taken over $301 million worldwide.
Godzilla slipped a single place to two this week, while comedy Bad Neighbours was also down one at three.
Postman Pat: The Movie was the second highest new entry on the chart, as it opened at four. Blended - which sees Drew Barrymore reunite with Adam Sandler - was the third and final new entry at five.
The was no move for Rio 2 this week at six, while The Other Woman fell three places from four to seven. The Two Faces of January was also a three place faller at eight.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was the biggest faller this week as it dropped six places from three to nine.
The Lego Movie was on the rise this week as it jumped up from twenty two to ten.
