Wreck It Ralph has ended the reign of Les Miserables at the top of the UK box office.
Wreck It Ralph is the fifty second animation film from Disney and it took a whopping £4.5 million in its opening weekend.
Les Miserables has been in the #1 spot for a month but was finally topped. So far the film has taken £33.4 million in the UK alone.
I Give It a Year was the second new entry inside the top three as it opened at number three.
The comedy marks the directorial debut for Dan Mazer while Rafe Spall and Rose Byrne star.
Django Unchained was down this week as it dropped two places to four while Flight was also down two at number five.
Warm Bodies, the big screen adaptation of the novel by Isaac Marion, was new at six while Lincoln dropped two three places this week to seven.
Hitchcock was the fourth and final new entry inside the top ten this week as it opened at number eight.
Anthony Hopkins takes on the title role while fellow Oscar winner Helen Mirren plays his wife Alma Reville.
Life of Pi and The Impossible rounded off the top ten this week as they both fell four places to nine and ten.
