James Mangold has revealed that the next Wolverine movie will be shot after X-Men Apocalypse.
Mangold took over the director's chair for The Wolverine last year, but there has been little talk of a sequel for the popular X-Men character.
Hugh Jackman was believed to be in talks for a new Wolverine deal at the end of last year, but little more has been said about when we may see the next solo movie. Mangold has cleared a few things up.
Answering a question about another Wolverine movie on Twitter, Mangold wrote: "@R__E__D_R__U__M @20centuryfox @ShuDonner We are figuring it all out. At the moment, I'm shooting The next #Wolverine after #XmenApocalypse."
Jackman will be back as Wolverine later this year in X-Men: Days of Future Past - a movie that will bring together actors from X-Men: First Class and the original trilogy.
X-Men: Apocalypse has already been given the go ahead, and will be released in May 2016. However, which characters and actors will be involved is yet to be revealed.
Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer is set to team up with Michael Dougherty, Dan Harris and Simon Kinberg to pen the screenplay.
