Will Ferrell says he will absolutely not be returning for an Elf sequel.
Ferrell took on the role of Buddy in the festive favourite ten years ago; a movie that went on to be a big box office.
And while the movie was a huge success, Ferrell has no desire to return.
Talking on US talk show 'Watch What Happens Live', Ferrell said: "Absolutely not ... I just think it would look slightly pathetic if I tried to squeeze back in the elf tights; Buddy the middle-aged elf."
Ferrell is returning to another character this week with Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.
It was back in 2004 when we were introduced to Ron Burgundy for the first time and now he and the rest of the team are back.
Adam McKay is back in the director's chair, while he and Ferrell joined forces to pen the screenplay.
Ferrell has lent his voice to The Lego Movie and has also completed work on Welcome To Me.
